Title: WLP820 diacetyl rest: yes or no?

I've found that 830 doesn't need one. Does 820?

I have done whenever I used 820. That doesn't mean it needs it though, but I've never seen much about not doing diacetyl rest for any lager yeast.

Yeah, 820 can be a tad slow. Definitely worth using a big starter and plenty of aeration.
