Title: Muslin/Voile
Post by: Paddy on December 10, 2013, 02:44:40 PM
Yes lads!

I hate to play the beggar but was wondering if anyone has a spare sheet of muslin or voile they'd be willing to sell?

Or a possible swap...

Trying to get a small batch of heffeweisen on the go in a10L pot. Got all the ingredients but completely forgot the fricken bag.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers P

You can get muslin in ye olde fabric shoppe. I'd assume there's one in Belfast somewhere.

Sorry man wouldn't have any - only have one sparging bag.

As irish_goat suggests you could try Paragon Fabrics (http://www.yell.com/biz/paragon-fabrics-belfast-4788821/) on donegal pass?

You wouls assume so bur been to dunelm, fabric shop on woodstock road and Donegal squar but alas no one stocks muslin. There was some voile but it had been bleached/coloured which kinda sucked?

Anyone know of a fabric store that actually stocks this oh so evasive cloth?

Nothing, and Ormeau Road. I have a meeting now from 3-4 but will PM you the details when I'm done.

They're only 2 small bags from BrewUK. Bought them ages ago and only used once, but have a look and see if they're any use.

Cheers,
