Title: bottle carbonation

please help fairly new to brewing just need to know how much sugar to add to 23 ltrs of pale ale for carbonation,and should i do my 50cl bottles individually and whats best sugar/glucose etc

Hi Foley,
When I used to bottle - I used to use about 130g per 23 litre batch.
I mainly brewed ales and stouts - I dont think this level was high on the carbonation scale.
I used dextrose.

130g is a bit high I'd say. I use about 95g tops

Between 80 and 100g for me mostly when I bottle, which is rare now. But I do use that carbonation calculator linked above
