Title: Vacuum Jar for storing Hops between Brews
Post by: magnethead on December 19, 2013, 05:28:05 PM
Hiya,
I recommended a Vacuum jar from Vacuvin before...just to update, I imploded 2 of them(Big crack through the lid) before realizing the lid is too wide to take a vacuum. The vacuum pump does not have a relief valve when the pressure is right like the wine capper from this company....But they make container for 'Cereal' that has a smaller far stronger lid that will take a vacuum nicely....So don't bother with the one of the left, the container on the right is much better. You'll fit 4 bags in it(squashing them down into it).
