Note that MoreB&W's fittings appear to be US NPT threads.

NPT is also a MPT for the Male and FPT for the Female.

As long as you stick with NPT then all is Ok. Its just that they aren't (quite) compatible with BSPP(parrallel) & BSPT(Tapered threads)

I use these all over my setup. You'll need more males than females. You only need the females for the ends of your transfer hoses. Males for everything else like taps, chiller entry & exit (if you have a plate chiller), pump in & outs etc. Id also recommend these http://www.mybeerandwine.ie/12-fpt-to-12-barb-p-299.html for your female QDs. I didnt get them & the hose doesnt sit quiet right. It doesnt kink but it sags a good bit & it fecks up the seal & I get drips. I use these with ball lock taps I bought here from mybeer&wine & HBW & also with hop rocket & pump which are american. I use lots of gas rated ptfe tape to ensure good contact & seal.

Do they have to be stainless? I ordered a few plastic ones from westgroup.co.uk a few weeks ago. They haven't come yet (they're coming from the US) but they look promising. They come barbed and treaded. They are working out about £3 (sterling) a piece including delivery.

Looks a great site that. Great prices as well.
Good for 250F as well

They will be NPT though won't they?

I'd say so. But the fact that they're plastic, I'm hoping they will be a bit more forgiving when screwed into a british/irish fitting? Some ptfe tape and a bit of luck? I'll let ye know when they arrive.

Its Horses fo Courses!

You usually have one of each:

The threaded connector (Female q/f) has a bsp thread(m or F depends) that is screwed into a ball valve that is fitted to your Tank/HLT/MT

The barbed connector usually has the male q/f end and the flexitube is attatched to that.

These arrived today. I ordered them on 4th Dec! They look great though. The treaded one fits a 1/2" fitting a little bit loose but PTFE tape should sort it out. The barbed one fits Damo's silicone hosing nicely. Can't wait to try them out.

I bought them from westgroup.co.uk. They are cheaper to buy direct from Kent systems if you buy a larger quantity. The delivery changes are insane  :( They worked out about 3stg a piece for me. I got 20 males and 10 females.

I tried these out on Saturday morning. They worked great. No leaks and very easy to make/break the connection. It looks like the only spanner in the brewery will be me soon  :P If any of the homebrew shops are reading this, get these in stock! You'll have no problem shifting them if they are priced reasonably.

Have you have spares then Garry?

Are these a bayonet fit?

I have a few at the moment but I've plans to build a hop back and a RIMS so I'll end up using them all I'd say. I should have bought more! If you want to take a loan of a set give me a shout.

Are these a bayonet fit?

Yes, like a bulb. Just push the female over the male and turn it 90°.

Don't worry, I'll chase the links above.
Have you a source/part for the fittings between the pump body and the Quick connects?

It's a 1/2" threaded brass socket. I think I got them from bes.co.uk. I've seen similar ones in Woodies but about 4X the price.

http://www.bes.co.uk/product/158a~PF~3386~3386~BSP-Parallel--To-BS-2779-Sockets---Brass-.html

If you are putting in an order let me know, I wouldn't mind getting some threaded females. I'll give you a few bob against the delivery.

Is it the 6564 one?
How many do you need?
I assume all that is needed is 2 of them.

Yes, you only need 2 for the pump. Although they are very handy. Buy a few extras for stock  ;)

I was talking about disconnects! Not an order with bes.co.uk. Sorry for confusing you! But thanks for thinking of me.
