Title: adaptor for Beer King keg to take cornie keg gas post
Post by: Shanna on January 12, 2014, 06:43:54 PM
Hi there

I have a beer keg system that takes 8gr Co2 cartridges. I want to instead connect it to my Co2 canister using a gas cornie disconnect. The existing King keg is 3/4" male threaded unit that takes a plastic 3/4" female receptacle that screws on to male thread.  What I would like to is find a 3/4" female adaptor that converts to a male threaded end.  I am not sure of the size of male but it would to allow a keg post to be screwed on to it.

Can anybody confirm the size of the diameter required to take a cornie gas past? Also where n might n one go about getting such a thing?

Thanks

Shanna

Edit: corrected description of King keg to Beer King keg.

A gender changer.
Would a 3/4" nipple and PTFE do it?

I've done this in the past. There is as connector you can buy. I'll try dig it out and post a PIC.

Its a gender changer and a size step down
3/4" female to ?/?" male  where ?/? is the size that a cornie keg gas post would fit on.
