Whats yours?
The stinkiest of blue cheese. 8)
Home made nachos, with home made guacamole, house chili, and home made salsa.
OH does the snacks, I do the fluids. A real shake and bake operation around our house.
Home made nachos, need a decent recipe for that!
Pork Scratchings for me!

Excuse us! What beer goes well with that?
Bacon fries or nuts when drinking. Cheese burger or pizza slice at half time. Chicken doner after ;D
I do like salted peanuts chucked into a bag of tayto cheese n onion too O0
Anything smoked - meat or cheese.
Have been loving Vindaloo peanuts at the minute.
Cheese - something sharp and salty, especially when paired with a malty English-style beer.
Can't knock the bacon fries though. They go exceptionally well with O'Hara's Pale, as I discovered last weekend.
I rarely eat whilst drinking at home. If it's a session with mates and it's getting late and soakage is needed then I work with whatever is there. Normally we'd have started on a dinner anyway to fill the stomach.
I'm doing my best to lose a beer belly here....

Start with a good house chili. Many options there. Will try and write up my house recipe later. We normally use the tailingd for our nachos
Salsa: chop up tomatoes, some leaf coriander, lime juice and one chilli pepper for heat (or more if you like it hotter).
Guacamole: proper *ripe* avocados, and whatever else goes into guac (OH makes it)
Proper tortilla chips, plain, maybe salted, but none of that flavoured cheese/jalapeno/bbq muck. Boring cheap tortillas from tesco are what you are after. El paso ones are good too, but a lot more expensive. If you cant get neutral chips, fuhgettabowtit
cover, with grated cheese, put in oven to melt, and be done.
I think someone thought they were getting a recipe to make tortilla chips from scratch :)
Just deep dry tortilla wraps. They only need a few seconds each side. Cut them into triangles first before frying
the missus makes a great chilli! Thanks for the salsa recipe.
For nachos - layer a plate with plain salted tortillas from aldi/Lidl. Small dollop of salsa on each, use refried beans too, sprinkle grated cheese. Repeat with another later. Microwave for 2 mins. It's a meal.

Its a food group all on its own. You dont *have* to make it unhealthy either - its those crappy, cheese/quacamole/sauce from a bottle nachos that give the meal a bad name.
Wings or smoked ribs.. Hard to beat
