This beer is pretty much spot on.
Next time I brew i would go drop the vienna and go all pale but its was all i had at the time.
Color is just a tad darker than the original.
Nose is so so close but i reckon about 10 - 15g more nelson in dry hop addition would be spot on.
Really happy with this beer and looking forward to brewing it again with the slight changes.

That sounds great! I do like the punk IPA, but you'd be skint drinking it regularly ;)
I'm gonna give this a go next Cheers for posting.
What yeast did you use ?
What's your reasons for the crystal and wheat? Brewdog say they only use extra pale MO. Looks great anyway.
The wheat was thrown in because I have more wheat than I know what to do with. Adding some to each brew to try use it up.
Fair enough. I usually whack some in for head retention myself.
That's it. Never hurts. Will definitely try this again with just pale though next time.
And you should make a big hopfenweisse if you've loads of wheat spare. :P
or Weizenbock :P
Weizenbock is on my to brew list.
Maybe a hopfenweizenbock :)
Go crazy and brew double hopfenweizenbock then :)
Might just do that. Will have to check where I could fit it in.

Let me know if you need a Aventinus Yeast! I have some - just needs "refreshing"
If it doesn't grow: Allow me to drink a few bottles and grow up a new batch of yeast.

Barrel Aged Imperial Double Hopfenweizenbock anyone?
;)
Were gonna need a bigger label for the barrel
Yes please Will if you could that would be great. Have a few wheat beet yeasts but why not use the proper one if its available. Thanks.
Should we start working on a recipe? :)
what was the yeast you used for this clone?
I used wlp007 but I found it needed more hops in keg. Another 40g Nelson
Brewdog website says they use Chinook and Ahtanum.

And Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin.
Yaah and Maris Otter. Do you think it's just MO or are there some specialty malts in there too?

Just extra pale MO according to the brew sheet on their website. http://www.brewdog.com/beer/punk-ipa
