So im off for a few days to Galway with the missus, while she goes shopping im getting a chance to go to the Salthouse in galway for a few hours, so can you please recommend some class IPA to have, i have'nt had the Serria Nevada Torpedo yet but its on the list.
1. Serria Nevada Torpedo
Their own of foam and fury is class, you can't go wrong with that, both that and Torpedo are quite strong, so if they begin to kick in too early, Dead pony club is another favourite of mine, and only 3.8%
I didn't even know Galway had shops till I made the mistake of bringing the boss!!

The tap selection available in the Salthouse changes regularly. Chat to the barman; they usually have no problem giving you a little taste if you're not sure

Is this like a reverse neknominate, if so I'd say drink a gallon of piss and jump in a lake...but be careful, apparently stupid people are stupid or something.
Jarl is on tap in there at the moment. 3.8% all citra session pale ale/ipa. Lovely stuff.
Blacks black IPA is on tap & real good too. I thought it was shite when I got a small sample a few weeks back but when I got a full glass last week it was a totally different beer.
Sierra Nevada celebration on in there too. Worth a pint or two.
they update their website/fb page with the taps list do they?
If you are in the salthouse, you might want to know in advance if there is something interesting in the Bierhaus also. I think the salthouse is better, but they are on different distributions.
You can also get lucky with the cask ales too. I have had IPA on cask in the salthouse last time I was there.
Yes, for up to date info check the FB page: https://www.facebook.com/thesalthouse (https://www.facebook.com/thesalthouse)
Blacks IPA is out at the moment, could be something different on when you're down, drinking jarl now, it's very good!
Old Henry Hobsons is on cask tonight, it's an excellent esb!
