Title: Heya
Post by: molc on February 07, 2014, 10:39:11 AM
Just a quick hello from a new member. Been brewing for about a year and just transitioning from kit to extract brewing, so time to start talking with fellow brewers as the addiction starts to set in :)
Just got a copy of http://www.amazon.com/Beer-Captured-Tess-Szamatulski/dp/0970344252, so licking my lips at making a russian imperial stout for my first extract recipe.

Based in Dublin.

Good man molc if you get a chance try and go to the all tech event where there will be some of us volunteering at the NHC stand. http://www.alltechbrewsandfood.com/

I have done a few kit beers and some country wines myself.

Welcome Molc.

I've been brewing with grain for a few years, and still haven't plucked up the courage to brew a Russian Imperial Stout (13F, for the BJCPers!).

I like your style.

I've never been able to resist a good challenge.

My first kit brew was a Belgian Triple. Also made a chocolate stout with mint chocolate essence thrown into the fermenter after 4 days. That was an "interesting" experiment.

Alas, I'm out of town this weekend. Next time.
