we have been thinking of doing brewdays on a saturday so will put it down as a poll see what day is better for people
Venue: Tog, Chancery Lane, Dublin 8 (www.tog.ie)
Cost: Free (Donations will be accepted, by tog or the capital brewers)
Format:
Brewing - 1 All Grain, 2nd one if someone else whats to do it (second set of equipment required)
Beers -Sample of the last beer brewed in TOG.
Kick off around 10
will need the following equipment
boiler
mash tun
chiller
we have a fermenter there.
the plan at the moment is to brew Cathal O D's belgium dubbel for the barrel. i will need someone to bring a boiler/kettle if someone else can bring the other stuff it would be handier too, just put beside your name if you can bring anything

Wouldn't mind coming along to watch/learn some tricks of the trade, be too much of a newb to brew all grain meself. Have you a specific Saturday in mind or is that down to what folk say in this thread?

??? ???
We are filling in 2 weeks wtf! :(
As is the bottle sorting day for the nationals! :-\
anyone else intrested? otherwise might push it back to march
Have just bumped the cask dubble thread.
May be March will be a good time to fill as well ( but not the 2nd or 23rd - comp w/ends)
If you've not updated the dubbel progress thread please do so!
looks like we will reschedule this to the 8th/9th march, cant do anything without a boiler + it would be handy if it could coinside with the barrel filling
That's grand, having my first homebrew party the following weekend so and the Beoir Village is on from the Thursday after so it'll be a good eventful week or so on the calendar.
