Title: Hilden Brewery ?
Post by: Greg2013 on February 18, 2014, 11:04:44 PM
I have noticed today that my local Dunnes is now stocking some of these beers. Can anyone give me some info on the brewery or the beers in general please ? ;D

Google it, it's in Lisburn, lovely restaurant on the side that does excellent lunch, I've had mixed results with beers there and they are either stratospheric or meah which tbh was a surprise.

It's a family run brewery - they're very friendly and helpful any time I've spoken to them. IMO the Twisted Hop and Headless Dog beers are the best.

+1 for Twisted Hop! The Hilden Halt amber was strong, and really not good. Belfast bap wheat was okay though. I hear the restaurant and tour are excellent. Got mine in Devine wines, North coast....
