Title: Homebrewcompany own brand malt extract
Post by: Tom on February 19, 2013, 06:29:42 PM
Has anyone used the homebrewcompany's 100% beef liquid malt extract? What's it like, particularly the gravity in a gallon, and how far does it ferment?

Is that the same stuff sold by HBW?

Mmm... well... it does say finest so...

No info then? I've asked Shane if he knows anything. There's a good chance he might.

Could be. I like the difference in product description. One throws around words like "premium" and "finest", the other "quality" and "knock-down prices". Yellow three-wheelers spring reassuringly to mind.

I hope I get a can with a picture of a pissed monk on it. I'm reading Pillars of the Earth by Follet at the minute and that's all the monks seem to feckin' do!
