Title: Coopers Irish Oatmeal Stout.

made this kit a few weeks back and as usual did a bit of hacking :P and threw in a non stout hop.

the following is the recipe i used, all grain i crushed myself and steeped for 60mins at around 67*

brewed - 19-1-14
bottled - 16-2-14
OG        1046
FG         1008
ABV       5.6%

1.5kg kit
1kg Dark spraymalt
400g porridge oats
200g carapils
100g chocolate
100g aroma

25g cascade @ 60mins
20g hallertau perle @ 60mins

20g willamete @ 10mins
25g fuggles @ 10mins

batched primed 20lts with 90g of brown sugar. had planned on batch priming with wheat spraymalt but i had none  :-X

cascade's an odd choice for bittering. I would have put that in for aroma.
