Title: boutye from sunny belfast...
Post by: markxx on March 06, 2014, 12:01:24 PM
hiya, remembered i'd an old pressure keg kit in the roofspace a few weeks back & decided to give it another go...turned out ok despite being past use by date by a few years!!...now I need to pressurize the keg as beer is starting to glug coming outta the tap...trying to decide if the S30 valve or pin valve is the one to get (my keg just has the plain lid)...does anybody know if the S30 CO2 cylinder can be recharged anywhere local to Belfast...seems like the homebrew shop in smithfield only do the pin valve type gas bottles...

Hi Mark!

Have you tried Nifex on the Colinglen road? They do pub gas and CO2.

If you're based in Belfast a few of us meet every month.
