Title: Time to oil your Lawnmowers
Post by: Will_D on March 12, 2014, 07:50:09 PM
So are we up for another summer beers comp?

Could always take a second running off our "ICBINL" mash!

Rossa is looking for an update on this as to how many clubs are going to send in a beer!

Anyone else thinking of entering?

Anyone else brewing for this? I plan on getting mine on tomorrow. We will need to arrange a night to taste and decide on out brew.
I suggest we make a make a night out out of it or possibly a BBQ / Brew day. Any ideas?

Have just posted on Rossa thread that we are in, but also asked hime when is the comp? and the cutoff date?

Talk more about this next Tuesday but brewing in 2 weeks time may be cutting it fine!

So how is everyone done for a small beer?
When would we be looking to start choosing out club entry?

I have again asked for confirmation of when the comp will be. It may now be 29th of June. I have said we will provide 3 entries which I am sure we can.

We need to meet befor then to select our entries.

Also we could sort out the quadrupple ingredients. James as a load of LME and DME.

Also are we going to buy in the Candy sugar? If so who is ordering?

We need to met before the 29th, also from what I can see there are just 3 names on the list so far.
If that's the case do we even need preliminary round?

About candy and caramunich, we have to first check much we need and if all are ok with 'group buy'.

So the comp is fixed for the 29th - so we need to sort out our entries.

Are there any more than the 3 of us

Nigel
Jacob
Will_D

If so we can meet next tuesday to pick our 3 entries.

So any one else??

Should be ok for me. So we bring along 3 bottles? 1 for tasting and 2 that will be going to the comp.
