Title: Wine Bottles
Post by: MisterBurns on March 16, 2014, 06:38:45 PM
So I decided to give a wine kit ago and now have 24L of wine in the fermenter. Now my problem is bottles ...... can I re-use empty (clean) screw tops or do I need to get some contraption for corking fresh bottles?

no problem provided they still seal :)
don't overtighten them and you can reuse them to your heart's content.

I'm in the same boat.

I've saved the bag from a seven litre Beaverdale kit. A tap will fit perfectly into the cap.

Put it back it the box, and cut a hole for the tap.

Now I have a seven litre vinotainer to take the pressure off my bottle requirements!
