well as u are technically Kildare why not get ur ass down to the busiest club in the country :), South Kildare brewers, always a friendly welcome and brewing tasks every day so keep an eye on the Kildare area of the forum or get to a meetup at any of the other groups.
lucan (liffey brewers) may not be too far away and we meet regularly
