So what time will I find out that I've been beaten to gold in Cat. 9 by BrenMurph? Is there a twitter representative, or will I be able to see online that night?
Humbled by ur compliment TOM but im sure WE and others have some great beers in there. Popular category...I think I judged about 6 red ales in Lucan BJCP comp.
Im sure there are multiples of that in Cork. May the best beer win ;)
Sorry Tom, it was debated by those involved, there is none.
No worries, cheers.
Well not officially whats your email address ;)
Tom if u get it, do u want me r Kellie to collect it for ya and Ill stick up a sign sayin its Toms Gold for the Press shoot :)
He he, watch the floodgates open! If I'm judging next year I might ask for permission to tweet the medalists as they go. If I wasn't running staggering towards the bus I'd have done it this year!
BrenMurph, I've already sent the cardboard cutout down. It's a few years old and massively not to scale, but it'll be grand.
i can let you know after i collect my gold :D
Apologies if this has already been answered on the forum (somebody might point to it). I'm not clear how the results will be published. If the process is defined somewhere clearly it'll probably save several dozen post subsequently.
You will get your individual result live and scoresheet back in the post or handed to you in Cork.
All results of medal winners only will be posted on the forum in due course.
That could be Monday or Tuesday depending on organisers work schedules.
How does overall BOS in cork work, nobody confirmed, is it golds?, score threshold? or wat? Im presuming it based on scores and thats why scores are secret and medal winners were posted?
You will have to wait until Cork to find out, its a series of highly complex excel calculations and brown envelopes that will determine the winner.
Why do you need to know? :) :)
Talking of brown envelopes, I happen to know one of the judges on Saturday; if anyone wishes to make a "donation" I will see that it falls into the correct trouser pocket ;)
thought this sort of thing was reserved for the FF tent at the Galway races. :P

Nothing shown here :(
Same. I can see my own score in the "My Info and Entries" section after logging in but don't see any others in the linked page above.
You're not going to see anyone else's scores.

that's a shame not even by number like the list that was temporarily posted after dublin. It was nice to see the other scores in the categories I had entered in.
Medal winners will be posted, but not all scores.
Apart from the confidentiality issue we do not want to embarrass entrants who scored badly as was the case last year.
You get your score sheets back this week.
If you want to volunteer your score to ask others how they did feel free to do so.
If people want to share scores, that's fine. But the scores will not be shared on their behalf.

When do you think the medal winners scores are going to be posted LordEoin?
Are the list of winners posted yet?
Not yet - will be posted soon.
Guys - I am sure you appreciate that we are buried in paperwork and tidy up from the comp.
Peoples own scores should be available on login, if you had 3 or less entries - you will receive your score-sheets in the post over the next week or so.
If you had 4 or more - they are in a large envelope and cost a bit more to post - so I am going to try and distribute most of them by hand (I think there were 22).
In the very unlikely event that you receive a incorrect score-sheet (for example : you got a score-sheet for a category you didn't enter)- can you please scan it in and email it to me (jameskeane@yahoo.com) and I will ensure it gets to its rightful home.
Big thanks to John RM, LordEoin, Ciderhead, Declan, Billy and the cork lads for doing such a smooth job on Saturday.
James
Thanks james. Good luck with it. Do you also have the medals?
Indeed
I'll sort out everything tonight, but unfortunately I dont have the list of who got what - so I'll get that, get the medals into bags with the names of the winners on them.
and then distribute -
Once I get them sorted I blast out a few PMs
