Title: could this be malolactic fermentation

I just looked at my pineapple cider and saw some strange foam on the top :-\ and I read about maloacitic fermentation and it gives the best apple cider but this is an other apple..

edit: it still smells great.. the smell is still like a sweet realy overripe pineapple with a hint of apple.
