New hop from the US, described as unique mango, grapefruit and pineapple. Some people have reported that it tastes like refresher sweets. Have heard great things about this hop, so was dying to get my hands on them, but had to buy more than I need, so selling off the surplus which is probably approx $3.5KG. Proposing to sell at €10 for 250g and €18 for 500g. Will hopefully use the national express to distribute as not keen to post these really.

Ok, going to close this now as at the 3.5 Kg limit, so now need to figure out how we are going to get the hops to people. Cork is obviously no problem, but what about Dublin/Kildare and Galway?
I know that Richie mentioned that he might be down for the Easterfest, and that is one option. Anyone else going to be around Cork for the Easterfest or travelling from Cork to Dublin/Kildare or Galway anytime soon?
I'm sure we will be able to get it sorted anyway.
Cheers Taf. Im up to Dublin every few weeks so if it suits Richie to take the Galway hops I could get them from him when Im up in Dublin?
Im on m7 at kildare junction 13 so if anyone is heading cork to dublin direction drop them off to me, Im up in dublin fairly regular. My next trip kildare to dublin city centre is on the 12th april if that helps anyone. Otherwise someone else may be able to sort something.
I'm driving to Galway Saturday, I can bring the Galway hops down if ye want.

Hi Eanna.
Do you mean driving from Cork to Galway, as the hops are in Cork? Anyway, I still need to pack them, and I probably won't get that done until Sunday.
Woops, just presumed you were in Dublin, as you were!
The hops are all packed now, and ready to go, so just a matter of getting them distributed. They are really fresh and green, with strong aroma, and the re-packing is of a high standard even if I say so myself. Can't wait to brew with them. Thanks to LordEoin for giving a hand with packing, as these jobs are always more enjoyable with a bit of company
I'll probably meet Richie at the Easterfest, but not sure how he is travelling and whether he wants to take the lot with him for Dublin/Galway/Kildare. I'll post a request to see if anyone can help via the NHC express, and can reward anyone who helps out with some hops and beer. As long as no-one is in major hurry I'm sure we can get them transferred without it costing much.
Looks like distribution should be okay one way or another, as per below post in NHC express. I'll PM ye with payment details either via bank transfer or paypal as gift.

Im sure therll be someone at easterfest heading dublin way :)

Cool. Where did you hear that, as googled it, and couldn't find anything, although this thread did show as no 10 on Google search.
I follow Nathan from the Brewing Network on twitter. He posted about it:
"So, how about Equinox/HBC 366 ? my amateur notes grapefruit zest, blackberry, strawberry, low ripe melon and bing cherry. big complexity"
Salivating over that description, and can't wait to get a brew on.
This is featured in the new series of single hop ipas brewdog put out, saw it in drinkstore over the weekend.

Actually got this last night. Very very piney/grassy.. so much so initially it almost bordered on car fragrance/cat piss!! after a couple of sups it mellowed or I got accustomed but it was very nice, great bitterness, some of those fruit flavours described below coming through particularly the blackberry.
i was going to pick it up, but for €18 for a 4 X330ml selection pack i said I'd pass.
Feck it. mine will be nicer anyway. brewdog usually go overboard :D
Well they are 7.1% abv... And while also being informative they were really delicious and enjoyable beers. The other two I had, Amarillo and Kohatu were great too. Kohatu could defo stand on it's own as a single hop but the Amarillo was missing that aroma punch. They were both quite contrasting. Looking forward to having the comet one tonight.
Right lads, the Dublin hops are currently in Tipp, and should be making their way to Dublin at some point. there was a bit of confusion in relation to handover at the Easterfest, so that's why things have been delayed a bit, so apologies for that.
The Galway hops were passed to Independant brewing, so can the Galway lads link up and confirm when ye get them.
Hopefully everyone will have their hops soon enough.
Dublin hops went from the cold room in the Well, to the cold room in Gypsy. I'm in Dublin on Monday 9am ish until Tuesday afternoon if we can try and arrange one of the Dublin lads to pick them up from me?
Cheers Dec.
I could pick them up from you Declan on Monday evening if that suited?
Sounds good man, I'm giving a cask talk until about 6.30 ish in D2 then free all evening pretty much aside from eating dinner somewhere.
That's grand, I will head over there for 6.30. I have your number I think, its an 083 number isn't it?
It tis, & ends with an 0
just cracked open my first all 366 IPA (it'll always be 366 to me, not equinox), and f**k me it's a crackin' hop.
Even with a cold, it really does have a nose similar to refreshers, but when it hits the tongue it's a different beast altogether.
it's got all the lovely citrus like something like cascade, a bit of spice/pine like chinook, and the high oil content gives some beautiful clean bittering.
Lovely hurling. Should have got 500g.
I can't wait to try this beer when my cold is gone and I can taste and smell everything properly again.
edit: christ... I'm inhaling this pint!
Richie and Dunkel I have your hops. Dunkel I can bring yours to bren's brewday? Richie?
Thanks again Taf for the original purchase and CARA for the logistics/medieval stout. :)
any ideas when this will be made available for sale over here on the usual sites

It usually takes a bit longer for the main suppliers over here to start offering these newer types of hops, so maybe check with them to see if they can get them.
Can everyone just confirm whether or not, they have got their hops at this stage?
Yesish - Shiny has mine.
I still have Brens in cold storage as I couldn't make it to his at the weekend
If anybody wants to sell on a couple hundred grams I'll take it. In brussels ATM and had a brew called lady killer earlier. Tasted and esp smelled like refreshers. Amazing stuff
not yet, still waitin on mine.
saw the header and was all like "Aww yeah.. more for sale. must get me some!" *sigh*

I have yers Bren, but you wern't there last week when I called :o.. Were you away? :-\
You'll have them tomorrow evening.
Hi All.
Just wondering if everyone has got their hops now? Specifically Bren Murphy and the lads in Galway, as think everyone else is confirmed as received.
Thanks,
Billy.
Yeah Galway lads got them. Cheers man.
Ok, that's great as seems everyone now has their hops. Again, apologies for the delay in getting them to everyone.
Can people PM me if they need a reminder of payment details, or just confirm if they paid by bank transfer or paypal, as I think a few payments are still outstanding.
Thanks,
Billy.
