Title: TIG Welder recommendations
Post by: Dr Jacoby on April 04, 2014, 01:19:58 PM
I'm looking to get a ferrule welded to a pot I'm going to use as a boiler. Does anybody know any TIG welders that would be good for the job? I've no idea where to look. Cheers

Grooming a S/S welder here in Lucan ATM. I will check. BTW have you seeing silver soldering being done for just your job.

Yes they can however you really want to query them as to how much S/S they have welded. Brickeys laying blocks and brickys laying clean bricks with even clean mortor joints. ;)

I found a few engineering places near Naas that might be able to do it. No idea yet on price though

Just walk in there and offer them free beer. No money needs to change hands :P

agreed these welders are a hardy lot and tend to appreciate a beer or two
