Time to get together again lads.
Lets get a list together this time.
Cursed Rebels are averse to these things. >:(
Fri 25th? (Religon kills!)
1. johnrm
18th is Good Friday! Where are we meeting, the train station :P
The bar at the airport is open that day. All we need is a cheap ryanair ticket and then we can tell security that we missed the flight.
John, can you do a poll to pick a date first?
Fri 11
Sat 12
Fri 18 (good Friday - venue???)
Sat 19 (but we can't go to the 'well, easterfest is on)
Fri 25
Sat 26
D'oh! Poll added.
I voted for 25th, but basically I'm not around next weekend and surely Good Friday is a brewday :)
So, is this on? :)
Looking like the 25th
I voted for the 25th, but don't think that I will be able to make it, as the wife has a night out. If anything changes, I will be in.
I'm flexible.
Funny thing is the poll approach tends to make it hard to see whether people have preferences or are flexible.
I know what you're saying.
You vote for one, thinking :) , then see everyone elses vote and :(
Would there be anything to be said for doing a list instead - people could put down all the dates that suit and then we could figure out what the best option is?

I think so, I'm gearing up for 25th and Sheilas.
Excellent! We're really looking forward to it.

For the new members, the etiquette at the meets is something like follows:
1. Go to the bar and buy yourself a drink. Try buy at least 2 or 3 drinks during the night so we're not flahing the 'Well's hospitality!
2. Come out the back and look for a gaggle of losers with bags of homebrew! Some will have NHC hoodies and T-shirts on. None of them will be clean shaven. You'll spot them easy enough.
3. Go over and introduce yourself. They tend to be a friendly bunch.
4. That's it :) Enjoy.
Start time is around 8:00 - 8:30. Anytime really.
Bring along some of your homebrew for tasting if you've got it. About 2 pint bottles should do.
Good meet Fri night.
We had a few new faces and some interesting beers!
Thanks to all for braving the elements.
it was great to finally get to one of these meets. hope to see you all at the next one.
Spread the word too.
I'm amazed that with the population of Cork, the tradition of brewing and the proliferation of new breweries that there aren't more home brewers and meet ups.
...and good on ya for picking the wettest seat in the house, with the greatest electrocution risk, you Daredevil!
'Twas a good evening indeed,

I may have had one (or 7) too many beers, but enjoyed meeting ye all
Brian and I had a great time, thank you all.
Brian wanted me to post the link for the motor controller that he and Andrew were talking about:
http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/blog/pulse-width-modulation.html (http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/blog/pulse-width-modulation.html)
He wants to follow up with some pictures of it, but I'm sure he'll do that himself when he joins the forum.
Hey Eoghan, was Brian visiting from Wales?
Yes and he has returned there.
Good on him for bringing the beers over to the meet!
