Any one up to speed with Photoshop?
I have a photo that needs correcting and I don't have Photoshop!
I need to gradually lighten the left hand side of this photo:
I think it needs to be lassoed and then a gradual lightening!
Here is the compressed version - if you can help I can email the full sized one
Any help greatly appreciated!
Using photoshop if you
Create a copy of the original layer and put that copy on top.
Do the "Shadows/Highlights" on the top layer until you are happy with the brightness
Create a mask for the top layer and make the parts that are now too bright transparent
The result will be the brightened parts sitting on top of the original image
I did a very quick version of this (naturally more time spent on this would reduce the unnatural look about it):
I think I can fix it. Gimme a little time and I'll take a look.

I don't think PS will fix that. Photographer should have made sure everyone was lit evenly I'd say is the only solution (too late, I know...)
It would have been handy but all the cool kids fix all types of shit with PS these days daddy-o
