Title: Midlands brewers callout
Post by: jules on April 06, 2014, 12:26:59 PM
Hi all!

I've been brewing with Capital Brewers for a while, but since I've moved out to Athlone I've been putting out feelers for a brewing group here in the midlands.
So far I've bumped into 7 or 8 brewers who are interested in getting together, so we have the makings of a nice group!

The 2 main priorities to my mind are

In any case we hope to have a first meet up this coming week or next.

Would any brewers reading this in the midlands area like to come along?
We'd do a first brew day (most likely in one of the brewers house in Athlone), and discuss some future events, equipment and venues.

This is a work-in-progress, so please get in touch if you're interested and we'll hash things out together!

Myself and dodge are with the liffey brewers but are both in the Midlands.. I'm mullingar and dodge is moate. I'd certainly come along to a brew day.  I'm all grain brewing four years and have some portable kit for brewdays if needed... There is a Midlands section in the brewers communities too you might want to post this in

Hi Jules.

I tried to start a midlands group a while ago and there are a few of us all scattered around.

If you have a few lads Athlone way give us a shout and hopefully I'd be able to attend. I'm with the Liffey brewers as Lordstilton said. I'm not bad at the all grain so people tell me ::)

Wow thanks to you & Lordstilton... I missed the midlands section!
I'll post something up there soon :)
