Unless you'll go for 100% wheat on your grain bill you wont need any hulls.

Really? I've got 25% malted wheat and 25% flaked and I was told I'd need em. I've never used wheat before so I personally have no idea what I'm talking about!

Basic weiss recipe is 50% pilsner & 50% wheat. Brewed something similar few times without husks and never had any problems.

Depends on 2 factors. How fine it's milled and your manifold. I personally have never used hulls. Keep it simple.

Cool, thanks for the replies lads! I had to buy the wheat whole even though I've no mill so I was just gonna whack it with a rolling pin! Wish me luck!

Good luck with that - maybe 10 minutes to Jacobs house might be easier !   ;)
