Title: Oxy-tubo flow/time rate
Post by: Cahalbrua on April 10, 2014, 07:59:01 PM
I'm only setting mine up now and wondering how people are getting on with the flow/time rate. Which was suggested to be   0.5L/min for 2min for a 1.077 wort and 0.5L/min for 80mins for a 1.040
And is this for a 23L batch.

That's all correct except the 80 minutes bit! Lower gravity worts would require slightly less oxygen. The figures apply to a 20 litre batch if memory serves. The info was taken from Chris White's Yeast book (co-written by Jamil Zainesheff).
