Title: Carbonation drops for batch priming?
Post by: Looky Charms on April 11, 2014, 10:28:26 AM
I did my first kit brew recently and used Coopers carbonation drops when bottling. I have to say they worked really well, but I found it quite tedious. My current brew is in secondary at the moment and I will be bottling at the end of the week. I have a good few carbonation drops left over in the bag, and I'm wondering could I weigh these out along with sugar and dissolve in water to make a priming solution? Has anyone done this with leftover drops before? Does anyone see any issues with doing this?
Cheers!!

That should work fine  :) Just make sure the drops are fully dissolved in the priming juice.

Thanks Garry. I did think it would be ok, but no harm in ask experienced heads :-)
