Title: April Meet
Post by: Saruman (Reuben Gray) on April 14, 2014, 04:51:26 PM
Can I "suggest" that the April meet be Saturday 26th in the County?

The reason for this is three fold.

1 - I'm available as far as I know.
2 - Twisted Pepper competition is the next day. Might be good for some last minute feedback.
3 - One last pickup opportunity for dodge to grab Oud Bruin, if that works for him.

Poll added.

Don't have any Beoir#1 yet but I would say I will by the 26th.

We crowdfunded €2000 for Black's lat year and brewed a beer. We all get 20×500l bottles and the rest went on sale in selected pubs. 9% DIPA.

I gather that, just seem to have missed the discussion. Just home brew? Or commercial?

Is it 2pm we tend to start at?
I have a brett infused saison. It's a little phenolic but interesting. If you aren't sensitive to phenols, it will be grand.
Also have some dark stranger and an old recipe porter recreation which I haven't tried yet.

Hey guys,

Was hoping to come along on Saturday and get involved with the liffey brewers. Do you guys run a brew day/demo or anything or does everyone just bring along some of their own to the LC?

good stuff originally from oaklawn myself but the brew sheds located in rinawade so naturally its taken primary residence status. Good to know there's a few more brewing local, many from leixlip in the liffey brewers? actually is there many members in general in the liffey brewers?

I might make this, if I promise the wife not to get as stinking drunk as I did on the brewday. That said it is wedding anniversary weekend so I may stay home for brownie points.

Yeah, you were pretty wasted alright!

I was really shite at pool, that was the indicator for me, I'm pretty good at that shit normally. Not even sure I remember darts being played...but then I believe Roger was playing with half a dart so maybe I wasn't the only one trashed.
