Title: Brewing Software For One gallon Batches ?
Post by: Greg2013 on April 26, 2014, 05:52:24 PM
Guys and Gals(?) when ye are doing one gallon all grain batches do ye use Beersmith or similar app ? I have Beersmith2 but it does not appear to have the capability to calculate such a small all grain batch. I am hoping to get more into AG this Summer and atm i am tinkering with designing my own recepies on BS2 but they are all for 5 gallon batches. ;D

I have five full kegs here atm so no more big brews for a while but i would still like to get into the all grain one gallon test batches to cut my teeth. I figure if it all goes tatas up on a one gallon its not so painful a dump to make.  ::)

Brewmate will allow you to enter your recipe, then when you adjust the volume it will adjust all the ingredients to match:

Downloaded it and works great, bit limited on ingredients but looks good. Cheers.

If you're missing something, you can always add it. Just use extract and color info from BeerSmith for the selected ingridient.
