This Competition is now registered.
Unfortunately as I resigned as Mod/Admin I cannot change the detail on the OP to update this.
It feels like I'm 2 again.
How can I edit the OP?
I'll look after it in the morning (on the phone at the mo and it's acting the maggot on me a bit)
Any drop points in Dub area?
Also interested in entering.
No Drop points as yet.
This is a small competition so is going to lean on NHC Express.
Competition is registered but I can't update the OP.
Hi John,
Is there a label template for this?
No label template.
Rubber band paper containing your name, style and special ingredients.
Time to start thinking about logistics.

There is a smaller number of entries than expected.
I do not have full detail (Category) on entries but this is looking like 2 flights instead of 4.
The number of entries improves the odds, but will affect the prize.
Please note that this is a for-fun non-profit competition.
Could available judges please PM me ASAP, thanks.
If you think thats small the NCB and GCB entry numbers are even smaller at the moment. ???
Any chance you could put this in the calendar ??
Calendar got fecked with the migration
beers must be down today, right?
Amongst other things, a house move has distracted me completely for the past few weeks, my apologies.
Do we have any BJCP judges looking for points?
Please PM me if you would like to participate.
@LE, Earlier in the week is better as I would like let beers settle.
As of now it will take place in the Franciscan Well.
More detail to follow.

Please contact me ASAP if anyone wishes to Judge.
BJCP points going begging.
Just goes to show the popularity of stouts viz a viz the rest of the styles.
Ye have 19 beers entered - that is more than the GCB and NCB combined!
Sliding to 2PM to suit Judges.
Entries are looking like 17, maybe 18.
The Pot will reflect the entries, adds a bit of interest but its more about bragging rights.
Its looking like 2 flights with 4 Judges
3 x Mini-BOS from each flight will go through to BOS.
Medals will be 1, 2, 3 overall.
The very best of luck Ladies and Gents!
Im leaving Galway early Sat morning if anyone wants to send beers with me. Il keep them chilled with ice packs on'tway down.

Woohoo, delighted with that! Well done to Bren and Jacob!
Congratulations to the winners. Some great beers in there.
Many Thanks to everyone who entered.
Many thanks to the Judges and stewards for taking the time out today to do the judging.
The day went like clockwork, very calm, unlike the panic when I realised I had no ink in my printer at 11pm last night!
(I resorted to pen and paper!)
Thanks all involved and well done homebrew west for their buldog kit that i brewed into a schwartzbier. Is that review enough do ye think

Will we be getting the sheets back out of curiosity?
Now that the dust has settled...
@Cara, Yep, I'll scan and email the Score sheets.

Delighted with the results! Thanks to all involved and congrats to Bren and Cara!

Congrats to all who entered and to the organisers:
Thats plus 1 gold to the NCB collection!
Now for the infomercial:
Its still not too late to enter the NCB and the GCB competitions.
Registartion of entries close on Aug. 14th and we will pick up bottles on the 18th or so boy (is that a real Cork accent there Will?)
Jazus will i better get practising more or ye ncb gang might catch me up in de 15 nationals. Fair play jacob i know hes a stout fan :-) roll on the joint comp in august
Is there a joint comp in Aug? I thought it was beer.
Ye john due to logistical and financial constraints will and cider hav a joint comp. Kildare have a stein holding comp while the contestant munch a pork knuckle.. R u in?
I know, out was a joke, sorry left out the smiles!
Reckon an oil joint competition would be great, I'd volunteer to judge one or two anyway ;)
Wat about a strip jount...datd b more fun :-)
Any chance of getting the full scores? Not 100% happy with my entries but I'd be interested to see how the judges scored them.
I tried scanning them but pencil doesn't scan well.
Please pm address and I will post them, thanks.
