Title: The first homebrewer
Post by: gonzo on May 03, 2014, 02:09:40 PM
So finally, after having pieced all the components together for me to brew all grain the last piece of the jigsaw was the malt.Dundalks only twenty odd miles away and after contacting Loughrans family malt I could come up and relieve them of a couple of 25kgs bags of pale malt adding "your the first hombrewer we have sold our malt to send us an email in the future and tell us how you got on"which of course i will. The only problem now is the wait for my two fermentors to finish arghhh!(first world problems)
So in the future when im going to Dundalk to get me diesal i can also get some malt ,and of course theres callans off licence there too so tonight its founders all day ipa-sn torpedo -galway bay full sail-and a bottle of geuze boon I love Dundalk.  8)8)

Hi Gonzo

What was the grain like using? did you get good efficiency from the grain? What price did you pay?

Cheers
