Title: Summer Competitions
Post by: Tom on May 03, 2014, 03:54:05 PM
Afternoon.

Are we as a club doing anything for these summer competitions?

I'm going to try and enter the Red Ale and the Black Ale competitions, not so sure about the summer session one, which is a club level competition. Will we brew up and organise a meet? There's a nice room upstairs in Grand Central with Kinnegar and Hilden in bottle, some European lagers and freakin' Sam Adams on tap!

Over.

I'd be up for that anyway. Would need to brew soon enough for it wouldn't we? Should have a rye ale ready in a few weeks and have a few others lying in the cellar too for tasting.

Not to forget the North County Brewers " I can't believe its not lager"

These will be picked up the same time as the Wikla Red Ale entrys - so easy on the logistics for the entrants

That's both handy and deadly. Cheers for that Will.

I think I might brew one red ale and two black. Have recipes in my head anyway.  :)

One of each for me, I think. Going to try and keep the acetaldehyde down this time.
