Staying in London for a few days in July and looking for somewhere to stay. Self catering within Zones 1-2 preferably, but would considering something a bit further out if it's on the Tube and has it's own night life. (i.e. not looking to stay in a Days Inn in a motorway service area)
Anyone any suggestions?
airbnb all the way
Used it in Cork, Dublin, London & Copenhagen so far. My sis is in Morocco and using it as we speak. No pitfalls thus far from all our travelling anyway. It's nice having a house when you go away and not have to worry about other guests!
I live in London, and have no idea what is good hotels or accommodation wise. So AirBnB actually sounds like a great idea. I looked at some options there, and the prices are ranging from around £60 per night, for very central locations (Zone 1).
Theres lots of Holiday Inns around central London too, which can be worth a look, but their site looks a bit evasive on price.
You might get a bit luckier with Secret Escapes, especially for last minute stuff.
Not sure what zone it's in but the jury's in islington is a lovely spot, always stay here when I go watch arsenal

Have you seen Dec's new glasses? There's no lenses in them.
