Title: Chorizo & Cider
Post by: Sorcerers Apprentice on May 12, 2014, 09:37:29 AM
Get some cooking chorizo, available in Tesco, but better again if bought in Spain, particularly the cocktail sausage size, ( Tesco chorizo can be cut into 1" pieces) fry off in a dry non-stick pan for a few minutes,  then add half a can of sweet cider eg Magners/ Bulmers etc, (I prefer this in the recipe to the Asturian Spanish cider) bring to boil and simmer until liquid has reduced by half and sausages are cooked. Serve on crusty sliced bread with some juice for dipping. Unbelievably good for such a simple dish  :P

3 out of 4  ain't too bad, simple to make, looks great, tastes fantastic, but probably not recommended by your cardiologist. ???
