Title: Hello from Cork
Post by: dcalnan on May 12, 2014, 03:40:00 PM
Hi guys,

Just signed up to this the other day and looking forward to learning a lot from ye. I'm a novice homebrewer in Cork City,I'm just after starting extract brewing after doing about 6 kit brews the past three years, I'm finishing up college this year so I'm hoping to get more involved in brewing.
Thanks, and I look forward to meeting some of you at events soon.

Daire

Hi Daire,

Welome to the NHC.
Rebel East Brewers (Splitters!) meet in Mad Monk, Midleton on Wed @ 8pm.
The Rebel Brewers should have a meet at the end of the month in the Fran Well.

Hi,
At the moment I'm drinking the Homebrew Company's extra Irish stout which is amazing,
and I just bottled a gallon of Turbo Cider yesterday so I'm looking forward to that in a couple of weeks.
I'm now planning my future brews, definitely a hefeweizen and hopefully a DIPA. I got two Corny Kegs off alealex
last week so I'm getting those ready and hoping to make a kegerator for them. I've definitely caught the homebrew bug.
I'll definitely try to make the Rebel meetup this month.
