Title: Allergic reaction?
Post by: CARA on April 05, 2013, 02:10:25 PM
The top half (above half?) of my right hand has completely dried out and cracked and it BURNS like fuck. Could this be due to me not wearing gloves using Chemipro Oxi?

In a word yes. Get yourself a good hand moisturiser and a long patio of Marigolds for next time

I was using the same thing and was an little blasé about it not realising that it does a great job in fucking up your skin as well as doing a super job cleaning everything else  :-X

Declan, did you notice any bubbles as is oxidised your skin?!  :D
Seriously, hope you're all right.

It is easy for us to become Blasé about these chemicals that we play with.

I inherited 5litres of Selden Amphoclen with a pH>13.5
A hand in there and bye bye hand.

lost a nice blue polo and jeans sloshing thats stuff about
You got a chemical burn and apart from the obvious complete flushing get yourself a plastic or marigold glove and smother your hand in moisturising cream like e45 or similar and put your hand in the glove for a couple of hours, it will help rehydrate the skin
If its a more serious burn and starts to blister off to hospital
hope you are all right  :(
