How much do you guys put into a 1 litre spray bottle?
Between 1.5 and 2ml
Standard dilution is 1 : 500 - so its 2 ml in 1 litre and 4 ml in 2L etc.
Its best to use RO/De-ionised/Distilled water as it holds pH better as doesn't go cloudy!
Cloudy means it loosing its sanitisationary properties!
Damn, I need to get me some Starsan - that's a tiny amount considering how long a sprayer will last. Do you spray it on the fermenter to sanitise as well, assuming it got a thorough wash after the last brew. That could really shorten my brew day...
I use 1.6ml per litre of deionised water. Read that in a few places before

Because you can reuse star san a lot of people keep a bucket of it then you can just pour in the fermenter, leave it for a few minutes, give it a swish around and stick it back in another bucket to store. You can do that till it goes grey.

+1
You should be able to get a 2.5 ml syringe from your local chemist or vet for measuring (just don't tell them you're from de Dublin Nortside).
Nice one, thanks for the info lads. I used 4ml in total tonight. Between washing out my bottling bucket and filling my rinser on the bottling tree and having a spray bottle full of the stuff. It hasn't even put a dent into the bottle. As an aside Erdinger type bottles can lick my love pump, absolute nightmare trying to cap them. Ale was nice though.
