Title: Good weather :(
Post by: nigel_c on June 18, 2014, 08:06:31 PM
SO what all this good weather my to brew list has been completely thrown out the window. Had a few pale ales lined up to do this week that I had to abandon because its just that bit high and I have a lager on in the temp controlled fridge.

Anywho, just drew up a few wit and saison recipes that that I'm planning on doing when the temp is high. Where I fermenting is topping out at 22 so its not that bad for them.

How's everyone else managing? I'd say there'll be a fair few swamp buckets being used this week.
The sour barrels around the country will be loving it I'm sure.

I feel your pain. Had a couple of disappointing pale ales recently, and against my better judgement having seen the weather forecast, I stuck on a new pale ale at the weekend.

Hopefully it will work out. I've got a vial of wlp500 in the fridge so I might change my schedule and stick on a couple of Belgians instead of the beer I'd planned.

Going to make a belgian Tripel at the weekend, so I'm loving the good weather right now :)
