Chaps

Thought I would spoil myself as the missus is out tonight.

Got 25kg of pale malt from Loghran Family in Dundalk and using up centenial and galaxy hops that I had, check the recipe out. Thoughts welcome - doing this brew while sipping the last brewday American Ale.

Not too bad thanks Chris

Didnt hit my volumes but I can work on that.

I used Brewmate to help with timings, etc - I found this very helpful.

After topping up got 22ish litres of beer. I also hydrated US-05 beforehand and really gave the wort a good stir to oxygenate, so hopefully that helps.

Would have moved the galaxy to late in the boil. Fabulous aroma hop
