Seeing as a few of you have major issues with reading the for sale forum I've checked about and there is a mod out there to be able to set a board to ignore in the new posts feed.
I will evaluate and install this mod in a few days if it's found to be useful.
Thanks eoin. Wud b lovely feature :)
Sounds good Eoin. Bring it on :)
Was thinking about this I'd really love is a facility to ignore specific threads when looking at recent posts. I know group buys are a huge thing around here and have got a lot out of the ones I've participated in, but scrolling through endless lists of the same names, over and over, when your not involved is not so much fun.
Maybe you can do this already or it isn't possible, but I thought I'd say it while we're on the topic.

Eoin - I see where you are comming from on this.
If I have no interest in a specic forum then fine. Problem is which Fora to block?
I 'could' block regional fora where I don't live and brewing fora that I don't brew (like kit 'n extract)
HOWEVER, I would not want to block the "For Sale" forum just because there are 4 VERY active shops there. I WANT to see what members are selling
They STILL need there own "shopping channel" that I 'May' block.
I think its time "THE COMMITTE" jumped in on this - I know its holiday times but this is a serious issue.
Also serious; "we never did resolve the affilates being allowed into the members area - or did we and the recent migrations undid something"
personally, i'd just like to block all threads started by the mottley brew.
what i perceive as their spamming and lack of respect has decreased my enjoyment of these forums resulting in me posting less
well said will d...... impressed and all valid comments that our com mittee needs to take notice of
Noted, this issue needs to be seen to sooner rather than later.
