I am planning on selling base malt and speciality malts in the next few weeks but need your help in finding out what you guys want.
I was thinking of selling 5 kg bags of Pale Ale Base Malt and 500g bags of caramel malts would this suit all grain brewers or would you want more?
I will be stocking Bulldog pellet hops, Craft LME for extract brewers and more all grain type equipment. If we can work together I think we both could benefit.
If you could respond here or pm me.
Thanks
Ian
Might want to do munich, wheat and vienna too, maybe in 2 or 3 kg bags. I reckon you'd sell a lot of chocolate malt too. Maybe roast barely.
Thanks Qs for the reply will look into it.
Will you be able to crush on site? It would be so handy to be able to mill and buy whole grains in Dublin.
Yes milling on site will be available or wholegrain if you prefer.
This really belongs in the for sale section.

I sell extract and extract kits from " The Craft Range " an Irish Company also an affiliate. I also sell from a Irish company all grain kits from " True Batch Brews " who I believe are also members. I hope this clears up any confusion.

You should get a fridge for your hops too.
And a better "box" for your yeast
As a moderator I have locked this thread. We have received a number of complaints from members.
Awaiting second opinion from moderation side.
6 of one / half a dozen and all that.
Lads we are going to unlock this, looks like it has fizzled out anyways (says he with fingers crossed behind his back)
What seems to be the problem? I'm new on here and live in Dublin so welcome any shop that is offering all grain crushing on site
Ian, I could have sworn that one of the other homebrew shops asked a very similar question in the last year but I can't find it! I may have imagined it too of course ::)
Here's what I did find, they might be some use to you:

I usually buy base malt in 25kg bags and speciality grains in 1kg bags for the lighter grains and 500g bags for the darker grains.
Sorry lads and lassies I have looked at it from all angles and wrecked me head till many an early hour and I cannot compete with the other HBS in Ireland for grain.
If you want to collect grain in my shop from one of my suppliers the affiliate and save on shipping I can arrange that. The price wars going on at the moment are a bit ridiculous for me not for you guys so sorry I did try but unfortunately I can't make it work.
Lots of margin pressure and an already high standard makes grain selling hard. Only room for growth is taking advantage of selling local, but to recipe and crush on site
Mottly, Did you decide to go ahead with crushing on-site? Will you allow folk to crush their own as well?
