Title: Which Lager to brew?
Post by: TheCavanMan on July 25, 2014, 08:31:13 AM
Guys

From what I read the Cooper's Lager seem to come with Ale yeasts, is that correct?

I'm just waiting on delivery of my STC-1000 and then I'll have my fridge temperature controlled. I know lager yeasts need to be kept cooler but which kits actually come with a proper Lager yeast, any ideas.

Thanks

Cooper's Pilsner kit has lager yeast. Nice kit too, dry hop with lots of Saaz  :)

Yup. This is my favorite lager kit. Just make sure you have your temperature control sorted before brewing, you need to keep it steady within the 12-14C range

The European lager kit has lager yeast as well, I haven't brewed it though.
