Title: a meet tonight
Post by: DEMPSEY on August 04, 2014, 11:56:54 PM
After a great day out at Rascal's brewery in which  Eanna brewed his lemon Saison an impromptu meet of some Liffey brewers was had in Lucan. Started in Kenny's where Metalman was drank but when we went to the off licence to get beers for drinking in the bar €3 corkage was asked for :o. The general view was fooked dat and so off to Carrolls for Galway Hooker. After that an agreement proposed by Tube and seconded by Lordstilton that shocked Imark (3 to 1 vote in favour) we went back to the off licence and bought the finest beers like goudenband 5am saint and more and went knacker drinking. A bit like the lads in last of the summer wine we discussed how best to cook the fine duck's in Lucan village amoung other things and of course Lordstilton and I were remembering other fine birds that were in Carroll's bar earlier ;). Finally off back up to HQ in the LC and finished off the last of the grand Cru.  :) :(. Imark maintains it cleans the palate for trying other beers after.
