Post by: admin on August 15, 2014, 09:57:31 PM
Herself is going to San Francisco next month for a week. Any recommendations for goodies she should be bringing me back in her suitcase?

If she can fake a toothache or something and go to a doctor I'd highly recommend Vicodin. Took them recently for bad sciatica and I could jump up and down on the bad leg within 60 minutes:)

With your love of sours what about Russian River (local to SF)? Or Lost Abbey (also Californian)?

I really liked the New Belgium Trippel. Might just be memories, but i remember it being a great beer:

Anything from The Bruery. They're in San Diego but stone distribute their stuff to SF apparently.

confirm the hotel she is staying at and have it all delivered to the hotel marked for her attention. She is an Angel you know and comes from a good blood line :)

Ive been eyeing these up on morebeer for a while. Ive no need for the sparge arm now but its still a lovely bit of kit.

Re: sour beers - just to add to the beers to get - anything by Almanac. Had two of these recently (one maybe a month ago), another along side a russian river consecration & a Jester King (JK thanks to Matt Dick) & the almanac was on par if not slightly better than the russian river (imo). Unreal beers!
