Title: First kegged beer
Post by: auralabuse on August 19, 2014, 11:59:53 PM
I just kegged my first brew.  Have been bottling before now.  A nice brown ale,  force caring with 50/50 suremix and I'm going to pour through a stout tap with the restricter plate when it's done......Any tips etc would be welcome

This turned out really nice,  very much like a Boddington or John smiths type of pint when pushed through the Guinness tap.  A bit too much foam so I'm guessing I over carbonated but it settles down,  the head holds for ages and there is real nice lacing on the glass.  Now to get through 19litres so I can put on an imperial stout.  Tough days :)

good job :)
now convince SWMBO that getting more kegs will mean you drink less as the pressure will be off to empty what's on tap.
