We can use the bar area at the front of the hotel for our meetings!
Next meet is 9th of Spetember from 7pm.
As there are a lot of us I suggest that for the first meeting we limit it to one beer per person and also tidy up a bit after the meeting!
Will fix the calender entry as well!
Excellent. Looking forward to my first meetup!!
Unfortunately all my brewing equipment is being stored somewhere in Kildare until I buy a house so I will be beer less for the next few months :o (unless I should bring something commercial?)

No need for that. There's always plenty to drink + you'll find few crafts on tap in 44 as well.
Right lets start a list.
First meeting in what may be out new haunt so everyone on their best behavior. No wrecking the place and nicking glasses. You know who you are. :)

Just bumping this - it is next Tuesday!
As its a first meet - no problem about small number of beers
I will send out some emails/sms on Sunday to remind a few key players as we have some important things to discuss and also:

Would be greatly appreciated.

:D
Happy days !
Gah. Just remembered this was on, as I sat down at the computer with a beer. Dammit. Have fun....
Was going to go last minute, then had a baby girl instead @3:25pm ;p Brews on hold for a while >:D

Hey congratulations!
That makes 3 new baby brewers from the North County in last couple of months!
Something in the water?

Weh haa another baby and they say beer gives men brewers drupe. What do doctors know :)
Congrats Nathan! :)
Great to see so many new faces last night. Lots of brewing chat and some great beers. As always.
The 44 worked out great. Lovely spot.
It's nice to finally have a date nailed down for the barell refill. Now I just need to empty a corny. 😜
Aye lad ye're right about the empty Cornie. Talking to Ciderhead today and we remembered I am also in for a Capital Brewers Belgian Dubble!!
Oh happy Belgian autumn!
Envious!
So what's the consensus on the 44?
We all happy to stay at the 44?
If so I will book up the next meets and also the Christmas party!
I'm ok with 44 for next meetups. Hold your horses with xmas party booking as Wetherspoons may be an option as well...
+1 for 44
+1 for next few meets
Another idea is the Doghouse in Howth. it's kinda awkward to get to, but it's a BYOB place - perfect for homebrewers - and they do decent pizza.... maybe if there are folks who are far from Swords, some + city guys could do a meet up there (but the 44 suits most).
Well I'm in Raheny, so someplace on the Dart like that is ideal for being able to leave the car behind. However, I'm far too new around here to be trying to change a clubs venue and will always go with the flow.
+1 44
