Title: Hello from Mayo
Post by: Boabiegringo on August 31, 2014, 02:44:35 PM
Hi, have done some kits over the years & stopped for the last year or so. Making a Tweaked Coopers stout again (old fave) & spotted this forum looks good! Seriously considering going all grain very soon... just a bit apprehensive  ???

Welcome to the club. I'm south of the border in Headford.  Galway brewers meet every month. Keep an eye on the regional thread for meeting dates if you feel like taking a spin to Galway

Did I hear someone call my name??  ;D ;D

Welcome aboard Boabiegrigo. I was just thinking of reviving a tweaked stout kit recipe I had last Christmas.  I'd be interested in hearing about your recipe.

Sorry for late reply Lads  :) just out past Newport. Did a mini keg of the Stout & bottled the rest.. Mini keg was nice ;D a great welcome back to brewing. Ended up ordering Craft APA & the lager  also did my 1st steep with carapils into both. Lager is bottled a few days & clearing nicely APA is still on a constant burble 12 days later. Very impressive kits. Looking forward to the results :D :D :D :D
