Title: English hop harvest

Starting around now. Early varieties in the US already in. Should be a bumper harvest this year, but demand is greater than ever.

Must head out and check the wild ones I found last year, see how they are doing. I'm actually going to brew with them this year....

Where did you find them at all?  Escapees from a farm yard years ago?

Near ballyhogue in Wexford, growing in a ditch. I'd say so, there was a few big estates around this part of the county at one point. I'm assuming they grew them as a cash crop?!
