Title: Downtime
Post by: Partridge9 on September 01, 2014, 11:56:58 AM
Lads/Ladies

We had a little downtime this morning - I contacted the service providers and opened a trouble ticket - I was also onto them on the webchat. The issue was resolved- it was related to DNS not resolving. Apologies for the downtime.

We are hoping to move all our DNS records to Blackknight over the next couple of months which should help against this in the future.

Regards

James

I'm sure they do, but in this case it was an issue with go-daddy, see blackknights feedback

nationalhomebrewclub_dot_com is currently using the following nameservers:

Name Server: NS65.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
Name Server: NS66.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

The nameservers control the DNS records of a domain, and at the moment nationalhomebrewclub_dot_com is not resolving to any DNS records whatsoever. SO you would need to cotnact GoDaddy in relation to this.

I was impressed with their response - they are available on the chat and responded to the trouble ticket pretty instantly.

Sure we can come back to the record move in a while - crazy week this week.

Onto Liam in Blackknight, they had a back end database server problem, all fixed now

They sorted it within minutes in fairness. Impressed with the support !
